Kinesiology Living Learning Community
The Kinesiology Living Learning Community brings together Kinesiology and closely related majors in a supportive, academically focused living and learning environment. As a member of this community, you will have the opportunity to take advantage of innovative programs designed by students and staff around your particular needs. Participation in the program is aimed to foster academic success, personal and leadership development, and commitment to diversity.
You will be a living with other Kinesiology students who will able to relate to your academic studies. The community will be a floor housing approximately 50 students. Throughout the course of the year, you will have the opportunity to participate in workshops and activities that apply to your academic study and are designed to let you explore your relationships with the people around you.
All of these activities and opportunities are supported by a collection of outstanding staff and faculty, including a Resident Advisor who has been specially selected and trained to provide you with the resources you may need to be successful at CSUN.
The Kinesiology Living Learning Community gives you the opportunity to be a member of a group that shares some of your identity and your own desire for academic success, all while supporting your personal growth!
Requirements for Participation:
- Be eligible, and complete an application and contract, for campus housing for the 2007 - 2008 academic year.
- Be a registered student as a Kinesiology or a closely related major within the College of Health and Human Services.
Space is limited and will be allotted to students who are qualified and in date order of the receipt of all application materials.
