Things to bring:

  • Bedding: mattress pad, sheets, blankets, and pillows. The bed size is twin, extra-long.
  • Towels, washcloths and other bathroom linens.
  • If your apartment has a kitchen: pots, pans, dishes, silverware and glasses.
  • If your apartment does not have a kitchen, you are required to purchase one of the available meal plans. However, you may bring a small refrigerator and/or a microwave oven.
  • Cleaning supplies: broom, mop, toilet plunger, non-abrasive cleaner, soap, laundry detergent, ironing board, vacuum, trash containers, trash bags.
  • Clothing and personal items.
  • Recreational items such as a computer, stereo, television, recreational equipment or bike.

Once you move in and determine how much space you have and what you can share with your roommates, you may wish to bring additional items or have them sent to you.

We strongly encourage all residents to maintain personal property insurance such as renter's insurance. You can obtain a renter’s insurance policy from most major insurance companies.
